About Me

Education

I recently graduated from Everett Community College with an Associates of Technical Arts in Graphic and Web Design.

technical skills

During my studies, I gained experience in graphic design, web design, creating infographics, logos, branding and marketing materials. I enjoyed learning to use Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge and After Effects. I acquired knowledge of WordPress, GoDaddy, GitHub, Figma, Sublime and Visual Studio Code for HTML & CSS coding, which helped me to see the technical aspects of web development.  

practical Skills

I lead everything I do with integrity and I genuinely take pride in my projects. I have the desire to go beyond the basic scope to ensure the best possible outcome. I pay special attention to details and have the ability to remain calm under the pressure of deadlines and due dates.

If we were stranded on an island I'd have the sunscreen and snacks because I like to be prepared!  I want to help promote others purpose and to ultimately assist them in achieving their goals. 

On a Personal Note

a bit of my story

My name is Sherri Ainslie and I live in Tumwater, Washington which is in the south sound region of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I enjoy using my graphic design skills to create projects that evoke a feeling. I hope to design eye catching graphics that may tug on your heart or make you smile. When I'm not working on graphic design projects I'm probably with one or both of my two favorite living creatures, my granddaughter and my fur baby Cooper. I have been the CEO for my family most of my life because there is nothing more valuable to me than them. I’ve always been a crafty person, especially raising two daughters, there was a lot of drawing, painting, glitter and glue happening. I wouldn’t say I’m an “artist” because I 

don’t have a particular artistic element that I do, but I like to make pretty things. I think that’s why I am attracted Graphic Design because I can be creative and design without being an “artist”. My main emphasis is graphic design but I am eager to explore the many aspects of the design production processes.
